Miller"][/caption] Below is an excerpt of a letter written recently to the Foundation by Dr. Brian Miller, pastor at St. Mark United Methodist Church in Mobile, Ala. Dr. Miller is a previous seminary scholarship recipient.Through the efforts and support of our tremendous donors, the foundation is making a difference in the lives of our students.   "As a beneficiary of your efforts to relieve the financial burden from seminary students, I am deeply grateful. Because of your work, and the generosity of others, Christina and I incurred minimal debt during my seminary years. That is an incredible gift. Thank you for the work that the Stegall Seminary Scholarship Endowment Foundation is continuing to do. The expansion of funding, the funding of students from a broad range of seminaries, and the desire to leave no one behind continues to inspire me. The impact is clear. The other day, I was having a meal with a fellow clergy member and recent seminary graduate. During our time together, he told me that the Stegall Scholarship was, for him, a dependable and helpful connection to home. The funding is so incredibly important. Just as important, though, is the support and acknowledgement that the Stegall Scholarship gives to seminary students. The regular correspondence and support from the Stegall Scholarship and its Board of Directors affirms the students' investment and is a reminder of home. And everyone loves getting letters from home."
